My name is McKinley Mendez and I am so excited to teach at Legacy this year! I graduated from West Texas A&M University in the spring of 2023 but I am a natural born Red Raider. I have a background in 3rd grade math and am excited to teach science this year. I got married in June of 2023 and my husband is a 5th grade teacher at Bennett Elementary. We have 3 fur babies that run the show at our house. Outside of school I enjoy music, art, and baking. I strive to have good communication with parents so please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
