Along with several other local school districts, Frenship was given a $150 United Supermarket gift card to shop for school supplies that will later be donated as a way to begin the Back to School Supply Drive that all United Supermarkets and Market Street locations host each year.
Just like in 2020, United customers are given the opportunity to donate at the register instead of purchasing school supplies for donation barrels. This allows for monetary donation of any amount at the register when customers are purchasing groceries.
The Back to School supply drive will run until August 6. When the drive concludes the money raised will be donated to Frenship and the other local school districts to help provide school supplies to students.
